Honey trap: NHRC starts inquiry

Mysuru, July 18:- National Human Rights Commission has started an inquiry in a honey trap case that happened in August 2017.

M S Gill, K K Srivathsav, Monia Uppal have visited the residence of complainant woman and recorded her statement. The inquiry will be held for the next two days at Nazarbad guest house.

A complaint of honey trapping was registered against Madhusudan, Girish, Hemanth Kumar, Vinod Javara, Raju and a woman at Nanjanagudu police station. The woman had later filed a complaint to National Human Rights Commission, saying the complainant Puttaraju, circle inspector Gopalakrishna, SI Puneeth, SI Jayaprakash had filed a false complaint. The commission had instructed the additional SP of Chamarajanagar to give a report. (MR/KS).
