An exhibition of paintings titled ‘Hues of Nature’ by Salvya S Raj, a MBBS Phase-2 student of JSS Medical College will be held at the premises of the college from March 19.
The exhibition will be inaugurated at 4.45 pm at Community Medicine Practical Hall JSS Medical College premises. The exhibition will be on till March 22.
Salvya S Raj is the daughter of Sasidharan an inspector with National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Samja K K a native of Kerala.
The artist has won various awards including international painting competitions conducted by Surindra Rajabhat University, Surin ,Thailand – 2016 , first prize at the International Painting Contest 2011, 2013 and 2015 conducted by Devbhumi Foundation, Shimla, first prize in Rajiv Gandhi International Painting Competition 2010, first prize in International Art & Craft Contest-2009 conducted by Pidilite Industries Limited, first prize in Design a Stamp contest -2013″ (National Level ) conducted by Department of Posts, India- First and various other awards.
She has also conducted solo exhibition at Lalithakala Academy Art Gallery, Thalassery in October 2013, in Salarjung Museum, Hyderabad in November 2012, at Durbar Hall Art Gallery ,Ernakulam in October 2012, with Kerala Lalitha Kala Academy Grant., “FORTS OF KERALA”, Mahe, Puducherry in June 2012, Hi-Touch Art Gallery, Thalassery ,2011. Travancore Art Gallery, New Delhi in May 2010.
