Mysuru, November 27:- “I am not an astrologer, but an optimist. I don’t foresee future, but wish well for the people of the state,” said Congress MLA and former minister D K Shivakumar.
He was speaking to media persons during his visit to the city on Wednesday.
“When I was going through a difficult time, it was the advocates who raised the voice at first and stood by me. I won’t forget them. I never was scared of allegations. I have come here as a normal citizen to thank you,” he said.
“The protests held in Mysuru when I was taken into Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody is special for me apart from the protest staged in my constituency, Ramanagara and Kanakapura. Advocates of Mysuru stood by me. I will always be grateful to them,” he said.
“I am not an astrologer. But I have seen many people speaking about the future of the state government. I wish the people of the state to have good days. The state should get respect and the Constitution should also get the utmost respect,” he added. (KS, NGB)
