Mysuru, March 14:- “There is no need to worry about the parties having electoral understanding for the sake of political existence,” said Member of Parliament Pratap Simha at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Thursday. “Ticket distribution is only for a movie,” he taunted Janata Dal (Secular) indirectly.
“I will face the election with the development works done by me in the last five years. There is no confusion about ticket distribution. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president B S Yeddyurappa has already clarified that all the present BJP MPs except two will get the tickets. I will be the candidate from Mysuru-Kodagu,” he announced.
“There are rumours of action against those who publish about the elections on Facebook and WhatsApp. Our party workers are confused by such rumours. The Election Commission of India has already introduced the model election code of conduct. The statement on altering the Constitution is a closed chapter. Ananth Kumar Hegde has already apologised for his statement in the Parliament. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced several schemes for the welfare of the nation. We will seek votes based on his works,” he added. (MR/KMR).
