Mysuru, March 5:- Lok Sabha member Pratap Simha taunted Janata Dal (Secular) supremo H D Deve Gowda, saying he is not here as a Parliamentarian to mould the future of his daughter but to work for the people.
In an obvious reference to JD(S) which is often blamed for family-centric politics, he indirectly taunted the former Prime Minister Deve Gowda, saying one who always thinks of his children and grandchildren is not a politician. With regard to Umesh Jadhav joining the BJP, Simha said that it was not ‘Operation Kamala’ and Jadhav was joining the BJP on his own free will after seeing the developmental works launched by BJP.
“I don’t even think who is going to be my opponent in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections. People will cast their votes for me again considering the works I have done as an MP,” Simha added. (MR/KS).
