Mysuru, July 16:- Higher Education Minister G T Devegowda justified pulling up Panchayat Development Officers (PDOs), saying he scolded PDOs who were not efficient.
He clarified that he had scolded the PDOs, though for a reason. He said that they were behaving arrogantly, hoping Siddaramaiah was there to protect them.
“We have to change the Syndicate members of University of Mysore. All the nominated members get changed when the new government comes. This is a coalition government. We can’t continue what Siddaramaiah asks to do,” he said responding to Siddaramaiah’s letter on continuing the old Syndicate members of the universities.
Devegowda justified Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy shedding tears, saying he is an emotional person. He also recalled Siddaramaiah crying when he lost the Assembly elections from Chamundeshwari Constituency. (MR/KS).
