I Serve Nation to inaugurate renovated Madivala Machaiah Temple tomorrow

 I Serve Nation, a city-based NGO, which had earlier taken up the renovation of Tulasi Dasappa Hospital is now ready to launch its second project which is the inauguration of the renovated Madivala Machaiah Temple on April 12.

The 600-year-old Madivala Machaiah Temple which was in a dilapidated state drew the attention of the NGO which as part of its second project has taken up the renovation of the historical temple.

On March 3 the renovation of the temple was started and now the work is complete and it will be inaugurated on April 12. A small hall to facilitate community members has been constructed and also a herbal park has been created in the premises. Jagadguru Sri Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswami of Adichunchanagiri Mutt, Sri Trinetra Mahanta Shivayogi Mahaswamy of Baby Mutt and Basava Machidevi Mahaswami of Madivala Mutt will take part in the inauguration ceremony.

MLA Vasu, former mayor R Lingappa, M V Ravishankar and others will preside over the function. A book on ‘Madivala Machaiah’ will be released on the occasion stated a press release by founder chairman and president of I Serve Nation Dr Manjunath.
