Mysuru, August 13:- “There is no confusion over the next MP candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the heritage city. Fake news is being spread about the next MP candidate from BJP. I will only be the next MP of Mysuru and Kodagu,” said MP Pratap Simha at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Monday.
“My ranking will be known if a survey is done on 28 MPs of Karnataka. Yaduveer has clarified that he is not interested in politics, but still such fake news is spread,” he said.
“I have worked hard for the 10-lane Bengaluru-Mysuru National Highway, railway lane doubling, Mandakalli Airport extension, ESI Hospital improvement. I have brought in funds to the tune of Rs 11,000 crore. Assessment of MLAs and MPs are done based on their work,” he added.
He said that he has the support of BJP national president Amit Shah, BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has clearly said that the Constitution is the holy book of India. It is a crime to burn down the copy of the Constitution. Strict action has to be taken against those who have done that,” the MP said.
Gokul Govardhan, Gorur Shivakumar, Devaraj, K J Ramesh, Rakesh Bhagamandala and others were present. (MR/KMR).
