The interim congress of south Asian society for Sexual Medicine (ICSASSM) – 2016 was kick-started in the city with the inauguration of CME programme on Friday.
CME Programme Registrar of JSS University Dr B Manjunatha said, “The interim congress organised by the society will provide a great space for more and more deliberation from experts in the respective fields to find a solution for various sexual-related problems.”
Topics including sexual problems in medical practise and OBG practice, sex and heart- the intimate relationship, infertility and sex, psychology of sex: Principles in sexual and relationship management, evaluation of sexual problems, love hormones and endocrine disruptors, role of Ayurveda and Yoga in practice and other topics were discussed on the first day of the interim congress.
The primary inauguration of the ICSASSM will be held on Saturday. Deputy Commissioner D Randeep will inaugurate the interim congress in the presence of President of Indian Psychiatric Society, Dr G Prasad Rao and Vice Chancellor of NIMHANS, Dr B N Gangadhar.
President of SASSM, Dr Anwarul Islam, General Secretary of SASSM, Dr S S Vasan, president-elect of SASSM, Dr Lasantha Malavige, Medical Superintendent Dr Guruswamy and others were present.
