ICSE, ISC result 2020 released

Prime News, Nation, (New Delhi), July 10:-The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) class 10 result 2020 and Indian School Certificate (ISC) class 12 result 2020 have been released by the CISCE on its official websites at cisce.org and results.cisce.org.

The results of the Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) year 2020 examinations will be declared on Friday, July 10 at 3 pm. The results will be made available through the board website and SMS facility, said Board Secretary Gerry Arathoon on Thursday.

Both the ICSE and ISC exams, which were scheduled to be held in February and March, were postponed by the CISCE due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Students of both Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2020 will be given digitally signed copies of the marksheets, pass certificates, and migration certificates by CISCE board. This decision was taken by the Board so that students do not have to visit their respective schools to get the marksheets and Class 12 ISC students can apply for colleges.

To pass the Class 10 exams, students need to score 33 marks in each subject and a similar aggregate percentage. To pass the ISC or 12th exams, students need to have at least 40 per cent marks in each subject as well as aggregate.

Students of both Class 10 and Class 12 will be allowed to apply for re-evaluation of their exam papers. However, a fee of Rs 1,000 per exam will be applicable by the board through an online window which will remain open from July 10 to 16, 2020.

Last year, overall passing percentage for ICSE 10th exam was 98.54, while 96.52 per cent students had cleared ISC 12th exam.

In its notification earlier, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) had said that it will give the option to write remaining exams to students from both ICSE 10th and ISC 12th classes if they want to improve their scores.

The schools can access the ICSE and ISC results by logging into the CAREERS Portal of the Council using the Principal’s login ID and password.

The Board informed that the students can access their marks and pass certificate of the board exams after 48 hours of the announcement of their ICSE and ISC results through the digi locker.
