Ideal Jawa Rotary School celebrates Independence Day

Mysuru, August 17:- The 73rd Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour at Ideal Jawa Rotary School on Thursday. The ceremony held at the school open ground was attended by the staffs, students and parents.

Rtn S Ramachandra Raje Urs, vice president, Rotary Mysore, was the chief guest. Secretary Rtn MCS Manohara and principal Veena SA were present.

To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, the chief guest,  along with the management members, unfurled the tricolour flag and all in unison sang the national anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.

Pranitha of Class 8 shared her views on the significance of the day. The students of the choir group sang the patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our motherland.

Ramachandra Raje Urs said he is happy to notice that today’s students think about the freedom and it is necessary to inculcate patriotism within us. “The true freedom means to make our country corruption-free.”

The spirit of freedom and nationalism was well exhibited by the students of IJRS through a spectrum of patriotic songs, dance and speeches. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity. (MR)
