Identify talents in specially abled kids: DC

Mysuru, November 27:- “Talents in physically challenged children should be identified and respected,” said Deputy Commissioner D Randeep on Monday.

He was speaking after inaugurating sports meet of specially abled children held at Chamundi Vihara stadium, organised by district administration, Zilla panchayat, women and child empowerment department, physically challenged and senior citizens development department.

He watched the march past organised for the children.

“I am happy for a sports meet being organised for specially abled children. They are children of God. They too have talent. Parents and teachers should identify their talent and support them,” the DC said.

Students of Ranga Rao Memorial School for blind presented the prayer. Trainees at deaf and dumb teachers training centre presented naadageethe.

Deputy director of women and children development department, K Radha, K Suresh, N Geetha and others were present. (MR/KS).
