Mysuru, September 16:- The Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) officials and workers led by chairman Dr D B Natesh on Wednesday morning (September 16) demolished several illegal sheds which had come up on MUDA’s corner sites (Ashamandira Scheme) in Devanur 1st Stage in the city.
The illegal structures had come up on corner sites 1142, 1162, 1698, 1699, 1727 and 1728 worth about Rs 6 crore. The sheds were constructed on four sites of 40×40 dimension and two sites of 30×40 dimension in Devanur.
MUDA superintending engineer Shankar, executive engineers M R Panduranga, G Suvarna, assistant executive engineer Raghavendra, zonal officers G Mohan, S K Bhaskar, C Kiran, K R Mahesh, H P Shivanna, Nagesh, H N Ravindra, Kumar and others carried out the demolition drive under police protection.
