Around 550 students of St Matthias School, Bannimantap performed dance to the tune of Chale chalo and Desh Rangeela promoting patriotism and oneness among Indians and were seen in tricolour costume at the Independance Day Cultural event at the Torch Light Parade Ground.

  • 70th Independence Day Celebrations at Andalus school 


Andalus English School, Rajivnagar, Mysuru participated in the Independence Day Celebrations held at Bal Bhavan, Bannimantap, Mysuru. Colorful dance performance on patriotic songs by 320 students was a solemn reminder of the great martyrs and their contributions to the country which infused feelings of dedication and loyalty in the young hearts added luster to the occasion.

70th Independence Day was celebrated at NPSI Mysore, with patriotic fervour. The programme began with the hoisting of the National Flag by Sports Captain Kokit M and Sports Vice-Captain Poorna S Bhat. Principal Shubha Achaiah, teachers and students were present.

Govinde Gowda were present.
