India busts Malaysia-based outfit’s terrorist plot; states on high alert

Prime News, National (New Delhi), December 13:- The RAW has tracked financial transactions of around $2 lakh made by a Malaysia-based group, for an operation in India.

Transactions, as per an Intel document, have been tracked to Kuala Lumpur-based Rohingya leader Mohammed Naseer, and terror preacher Zakir Naik.

According to the Intel inputs, the terror group has trained a woman in Myanmar, who is heading the group, for a strike in India. A Chennai-based hawala dealer has been tracked for receiving a part of this fund.

According to the intelligence report accessed by AajTak/India Today TV, the operatives may infiltrate through the Bangladesh or Nepal border.

The Intel has alerted the police and state intelligence bureaus in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab and West Bengal on Saturday night. The likely targets are Delhi, Ayodhya, Bodh Gaya, major cities of West Bengal and Srinagar. (MR, Inputs: Agencies).
