India outplay New Zealand 4-2 in hockey series opener

Prime News, International and National Sports, Hockey, Bengaluru, July 20:- The Indian men’s hockey team pulled off a sensational 4-2 win over New Zealand in the first Test of the three-match series at the Sports Authority of India’s (SAI) Bengaluru campus here Thursday.

Rupinder Pal Singh (2′, 34′), Mandeep Singh (15′) and Harmanpreet Singh (38′) scored for India while Stephen Jenness (26′, 55′) scored a brace for the visitors.
