India should be free of cattle blood: Raghaveshwara seer

Mysuru, January 4:- “Our aim is to make India free from cattle blood. Continuous movements need to be launched to protect cows,” said Raghaveshwara Bharathi seer of Ramachandrapura Mutt.

He was speaking at a signature campaign launched to protect Indian cattle breed at Vivekananda Circle at Kuvempunagar here on Wednesday.

“Cow provides us milk and keeps us away from death. Why has human being become so cruel? Why do we have to kill cow? India should be free from the blood of cow. The signatures collected from the public will be sent to the central and state government. 50,000 seers have sent letters written in blood,” he added.

A procession was also taken out from Hegadewar Circle in Kuvempunagar here.

Chidananda seer of Hosamutt, Krishna Mohanananda Giri seer, Elai Alvar seer, Siddamalla seer, BJP leader H V Rajeev, Phaneesh, and others were present.
