Mysuru, May 14:- The commitment showed by the police department especially during the lockdown has been exemplary. More often than not, people point a finger at the cops. But the point is unless they are strict, nothing works with our people. Police are ensuring guidelines are followed strictly during the lockdown and are also showing their human side.
Monkeys have found temples to be a safe place for them. They were living on food being provided to them by the devotees. But now no devotees are visiting temples due to lockdown. The monkeys are having a tough time finding food. Inspector of Devaraja Police Station N Muniyappa distributed fruits and biscuits to monkeys at Chamundi Hills on Tuesday. He also distributed ration kits to 18 labourers from West Bengal.
He was accompanied by staff Ningaraju, Raghavendra and Ravi. (MR/KS)
