June 21 is the second International yoga awareness day. As a part of the celebration a yogic session by world record holder in yoga – Shirsasan, Badarinarayan K S was arranged at “Regional Museum of Natural History” for BEd Students of Vidya Vikas Institution.
Acclaimed as the King of Yoga postures – SHIRSASANA, in over 1000 places all over the world, including World UNESCO heritage sites, spoke to the students on the importance of Pranayama and Meditation. He also stressed on the need for students to enhance their creative skills along with their academics. He encouraged them to aim for national and world records.
As a volunteer of an NGO called Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement he plans to conduct a Yoga awareness campaign on June 21 at Sargur for tribal students as well as the students from near-by government schools.
