People have strong faith in electronic weighing machines, believing that it will give out proper reading. However, in reality, these machines have been found to be faulty. Even the LPG gas cylinder distributors should be equipped with a weighing machine and verify the weight of cylinders before handing them over to consumers. In this regard, consumers can demand for weight verification. – Sarala Nair, Assistant Director, Department of weight and measures.
