IPL 2019: Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals by 40 runs

Prime News, National Sport, Cricket, New Delhi, April 19:- Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals by 40 runs in a second leg match at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium here last night.

Chasing a target of 169 to win, Delhi Capitals were restricted by Mumbai Indians to 128 for 9. Rahul Chahar took 3 wickets while Jasprit Bumrah 2.

Hardik Pandya, 32 off 15 and Krunal Pandya 37 not out off 26 provided a much needed late onslaught by hammering 51 runs off the last 18 balls to put Mumbai 168 for 5. Opener Quinton de Kock hit 35 runs.

This was after Delhi Capitals spinners Amit Mishra (1/18) and Axar Patel (1/17) tightened the screws on Mumbai with a tidy effort.
