Is Siddaramaiah a socialist? asks BJP state vice president Srinivas Prasad

Mysuru, April 3:- “Is Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who puts on an apple garland weighing 750 kg a socialist?,” questioned former minister and BJP state vice-president V Srinivas Prasad at a press meet held at a private hotel in the city on Tuesday.

“If someone comes forward with a 100-kg gold chain, he will get that on him as well. I will beat Siddaramaiah at Chamundeshwari Constituency. I won’t reveal how it will be done. I have written about the by-election in my book. None of the three leaders has read that book but have made allegations. They should have read and spoken. My aim was to inform what has happened to the public and not to go to court. Speaking lightly and carelessly is the habit of Siddaramaiah. No one has hurt me like this after being helped in politics. I had planned to spend Rs 100 crore special fund for the city. I asked for the installation of the statue of Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar. I provided grants for the Ambedkar statue and Ambedkar Bhavan. The new Deputy Commissioner’s office was planned when I was the revenue minister. Public memory is short. That’s why I have to reveal everything now. The arrogance of Siddaramaiah itself will defeat him. I know what they plan sitting in resorts.  Siddaramaiah’s close aide Marigowda had assaulted the then DC. Is it also a contribution of Siddaramaiah, who calls himself above the Maharajas of Mysuru?” Prasad asked.

Supporters of Srinivas Prasad and BJP leaders were present. (MR/KS).
