Prime News, Karnataka, Development, Finance, Politics, Mysuru, November 23:- Senior Janata Dal (Secular) leader H D Kumaraswamy on Monday (November 22) castigated Congress leader Siddaramaiah for getting angry with his party workers when they asked him for tickets to contest Legislative Council polls. “These days, Siddaramaiah is busy sharing the dais with the person who defeated him in the Assembly polls. And, it is all the more surprising that he is unhappy with his own party workers.”
He said, “Our leader H D Deve Gowda and I have lost elections, but we have never held our workers responsible for our loss. We may have lost elections due to various other reasons and we can’t be blaming someone else.”
On Chamundeshwari Constituency MLA G T Devegowda quitting the party, Kumaraswamy said, “I don’t know what he is up to. The state Assembly elections are still far away. Anything can happen in politics but I have not contacted him.”
On K R Nagar MLA Sa Ra Mahesh, Kumaraswamy spiked the rumours that his relationship with him is not good.
Training his guns on Rural Development and Panchayat (RDPR) Minister K S Eshwarappa, the JD(S) leader said, “Is taking 40% commission from contractors development? People of the state are not developing, but only the leaders of BJP are improving. Some of the contractors have written to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi against BJP leaders for demanding a hefty commission. Do we call this a development?” (MR/KS)
