ISKCON to conduct Culture camp for children from April 18

ISKCON, Jayanagar, Mysuru is organising a unique summer programme for children. The programme focuses on helping them rediscover their rich cultural heritage and systematically understand the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. Designed with different types of activities and games, just the kind of fun that parents would want children to have!

The three week-long Culture camp for students of Class 4 to 8 will commence from April 18.  Camp timings will be between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm.  The batch will conclude on May 14 with talents’ day function.

Students will learn the principles of Bhagavad-Gita, japa-meditation and bhajans.  The camp will also teach the students to memorise the verses of Bhagavad Gita, to understand the philosophy of the Gita in a simple way and help students to build character.

In addition, the students can choose to learn art from variegated exciting modules like drama and painting. Gita course, a module designed for all students, exclusively aims to instill moral principles to the younger generation through the teachings of Vedic literatures.
