Italian Woman kidnapped by two youths at IGI airport, manage to flee

Prime News, National, New Delhi, June 29:-  A 36-year old woman was allegedly kidnapped by two men and taken her to Chandigarh from Indira Gandhi International Airport, police sources said.

The woman arrived in New Delhi on June 20, taken a pre-booked taxi to her hotel at Paharganj. The driver of the taxi took the woman to a fake government office in Gole market, saying that all the roads blocked to Paharganj due to the election in the national capital.

The woman manages to obtain their Wi-Fi password, after suspicion that they are lying, she posted a message on the Facebook wall.

The abductor sensing that woman came to know about them, the woman was robbed of her 500 euros. She was forcibly taken to Chandigarh warning not to raise an alarm.

In Chandigarh, the woman, however, managed to escape from their hold and informed the Italian embassy who then informed Delhi Police.

After registering a case, the police nabbed the youth with the help of technical surveillance.

The two youth identified as Nikki and Prithvi Raj.
