‘Jaaga Nimdu, Gida Namdu’ programme to create awareness

“People are not aware of the environmental issues. Environmental awareness should be reached to all the citizens,” said T Mahadevaswamy, state president of Karnataka Parisara Jagruthi Vedike.

He was speaking on the occasion of 18th week of ‘Jaaga nimdu, Gida namdu’ programme organised by the Akhila Karnataka Parisara Jagruthi Vedike in Yaraganahalli Government High School on Sunday.

“Awareness should be created regarding saving the environment. Everyone needs to love greenery and save the nature around us,” he said.

Omkarappa, teacher of the school, appreciated the foundation for organising the programme in order to save the environment.

Mahesh Kamat of Vande Mataram Foundation, Secretary Latha Mohan, Yogeesh, Sunil, Prashanth, Lokesh, Nagarajappa, Keshavamurthy, Mohan Kumar, Sanju, Mahadevaswamy and students of the school were present.
