Jai Bhim Janaspandana Vedike celebrates eco-friendly Deepavali

Mysuru, November 6:- Jai Bhim Janaspandana Vedike celebrated Deepavali festival in a special and eco-friendly way on Thursday (November 4). The gathering took an oath by watering plants to protect the environment from bursting crackers during the festival.
Speaking on the occasion, Jnanaprakash Swamiji said, “Everyone should celebrate the festival without harming the environment.”
Jai Bhim Janaspandana Vedike president Chethan Kantaraju said, “We must celebrate Deepavali festival without causing damage or any harm to the environment and people. Many children have lost sight.”
H D Kote SC,ST organisation president Nagesh, youth leader Srikanth, Pandavapura Confederation of Dalit organisations, Anganwadi teacher Jayalakshmi and others were present. (AM/SH)
