Mysuru, March 21:- People usually prefer Sunday, being a holiday, to go to the barber shop for a haircut or shave. But if you are planning to get it done this Sunday, the barbers hops might remain closed in response to the ‘Janta curfew’ call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Prime Minister has requested the entire nation to observe Janta curfew from 7 am to 9 pm on Sunday. Salons have extended their support to the Prime Minister’s call.
Svabhimani Kshaurika Jagruti Vedike has extended its support to the Prime Minister’s plea. Member of the association, Narayan said that the salons have decided to remain closed on Sunday and the members of the organisation are visiting all the salons to make the barbers understand the importance of social distancing and Janta curfew.
He said that hand sanitisers and face masks have already been distributed to all the salons in the city. (MR/KS)
