JD(S) preparing to defeat Siddaramaiah in polls

Mysuru, January 24:- Janata Dal (Secular) is making all-out preparations to defeat Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who is planning to contest from Chamundeshwari Constituency in the coming Assembly elections scheduled for April or May.

A meeting of Kuruba community was held at a private hotel in the city on Tuesday.

“Members of Kuruba community should support JD(S) MLA G T Devegowda. Siddaramaiah has done nothing for the community. He doesn’t allow the community members to grow. He should be taught a lesson in this elections,” said Beerihundi Basavanna.

Devegowda, Belavadi Shivamurthy, Kotehundi Mahadev, Rajanna and more than 800 members of Kuruba community were present. (MR/KS).
