Jharkhand lynching; two more accused surrender

Prime News, National, Ramgarh, June4:- Two more prime accused named in the lynching incident by police FIR, surrender in Ramgarh court after another prime accused Chottu Rana had surrendered in court.

In a joint press conference with Deputy Commissioner Rajeshwari B, Superintendent of Police Kishore Kausha said, the two prime accused had surrendered in Ramgarh court.

The two accused Deepak Mishra and Chhotu Verma surrendered after the district administration preparing to attach accused property; the SP added that so far seven accused have been arrested while three have surrendered in the court.

On suspicion that Mohamed Alliumuddin was carrying beef in his vehicle the mob attacked and beaten to death on June 29. Allimuddin was a resident of Mauna village in Hazaribagh.

The situation in Ramgarh returned to normal, the security forces deployed in sensitive areas had been reduced; forces in some sensitive areas still remained deployed.

Deputy Commissioner of Ramgarh Rajeshwari B said that the widow of the deceased Allimuddin would get widow pension.

A special team by the administration was reviewing the videos and photos circulated in the social media if identified among the lynching party more arrests will be made the SP said.
