Mysuru, August 6:- Titular king of Mysuru, Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar has welcomed the decision of the central government to abolish Article 370 of the Constitution that had given special privileges to Jammu and Kashmir.
“We have to support the decision taken by the Modi government for a strong and united India. I support the government’s decision. Let Kashmir develop with the abolition of Article 370,” he said while speaking to media persons in the city on Tuesday.
When asked about his entry to politics, Wadiyar said that he is not so keen in entering politics.
Responding to the delay in bringing Dasara elephants to the city, he said that the question should be asked to the government. All the Dasara related works undertaken by Mysore Palace is going on as per schedule, he added. (GK, NGB)
