Mysuru, June 02:- Chinmaya Mission, Mysuru is organising a week-long ‘Jnana Yajna’on ‘Geetha Saara’ (42 verses from Srimadbhagavadgeeta selected by Sri Ramana Maharshi himself) by Swami Brahmanandaji from tomorrow till June 9 at Nityothsava convention centre in the city.

Swami Brahmanandaji is a direct disciple of pujya Gurudev and is also the regional head of the mission in Karnataka.

He travels across our country to conduct discourses on several spiritual topics. He has authored books and produced several CD’s and also translated several books of Gurudev into Kannada for benefit of kannadigas. His style of delivery is simple and laced with humour.

The Bhajans he sings and the ‘mukthakas’ he quotes from DVG’s ‘Mankutimmmana Kagga’ during his discourse, make a special impact on the listeners. People in Mysuru wait for his discourses which are generally held once in a year. Beginning from 4th June, everyday from 6 to 6:30 p.m. there will be mass chanting of Sri Vishnusahasranama stotram.
