Mysuru, January 31:- “A two-day Job Fair will be held at Maharaja College Ground here for aspirants of Mysuru division on February 23 and 24,” said Deputy Commissioner D Randeep on Tuesday.
He was speaking at the preview meeting of the job fair held at the DC’s office.
“Around 50 – 60,000 students from Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Mandya and Hassan districts will attend the job fair.
“Ten thousand students will be selected for 300 companies based on their educational qualifications. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will attend the Job Fair on February 24 and he will distribute appointment letters. Students who have enrolled their names will be sent their room number, registration number and the companies that will interview them based on their qualifications and will be informed by SMS,” he added.
He said that food and accommodation facilities will be provided to them by the district administration.
District employment officer Vishwanath Dharani, Shreyans Jain, DDPI S C Shivamurthy, Prabha Urs and others were present. (MR/KS).
