Mysuru, August 11:- The Kabini Reservoir in HD Kote taluk of Mysuru district is almost full. The reservoir is half feet away from its full capacity.
With the torrential rains lashing the state in the last one week, most of the rivers are in full spate. Heavy rains have created a flood-like situation in the region. With Wayanad district in Kerala receiving heavy rains, the inflow to Kabini Reservoir has been heavy.
Kabini Dam’s maximum water level is 84 feet and as on Tuesday, it is 83.50 feet. Inflow is 25,116 cusecs while outflow is 7,350 cusecs. The reservoir has a storage capacity of 19.52 TMC and it stood at 19.19 TMC today (Aug 11). (MR/KS)
