Mysuru, August 29:- JSS Urban Haat which has become quite popular amongst the Handicraft manufacturers spread all across India is organizing Kalavaibhav-2017 as part of Mysuru Dasara from September 01st to 10th.
The exhibition is organised under the sponsorship of Department of Industries and commerce. More than 60 master craft persons from all over the country will display their products at a rural ambience, and demonstrate their finest crafts work that is set to capture many hearts. Their exquisite craft creations to show case their traditional heritage of arts & crafts to the art connoisseurs of Mysore.
In all the ‘Craft Bazaar’ showcases an amazing range of Handicrafts under one roof. The craft Bazaar is a unique exhibition and an opportunity for artistic, cultural and creative pursuit, it tells stories from the heart of rural India through its textiles, pottery and jewelry.
National and State awardees craftsmen will present live demonstrations in Art & Craft making and display Pujabi Phulkari/Patiyala Suits, Bhagalpur Tassar Silk sarees/duppatta, Bastar Iron Craft from Madhyapradesh, Horn Products, Grass Mats/ Curtains, Jaipur Kurthas & Raprons, Kanjivaram Silk Sarees, Ilakal Kasuthi and Molakalmur sarees of Karnataka, Jute bags, Tassur silk sarees, Kantha stitch sarees, Banaras sarees and Dress Materials, Boutique saress and Dress, Bengali Cotton sarees, Kashmir Handlooms, Wood Carving & furniture’s from Saharanpur, Wood Inlay, Chicken Embroidery, Modern Arts Murals ceramic, Madhubani Painting, Rajasthan Miniature Paintings, Rajasthan Embroidery & footwear, Gujarat Dress, Dry flower, All kinds of Leather Items, all kinds of Jute products, Vegetable print Dress Materials, Artificial, Imitation Jewellery, Gem Stone Jewelry, Marbal Painting, Karnataka Silk Sarees& Channapattan Toys, all kinds of Terracotta items and other Handicrafts& Handlooms Items.
A wide range of handicrafts will be displayed from from September 1st to 10th at the venue. The mela will be kept open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
The event will be inaugurated on 1st September 2017 at 4.00 PM by R Vasu, MLA, at JSS Mysore Urban Haat. G T Devegowda, MLA and Former Minister will preside.
