Kalisu’s Jnanalaya at Govt High School inaugurated

Mysuru, September 20:- Kalisu Foundation, in association with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries – VST Diesel Engines Private Limited, has built a library at Government High School at Kuvempunagar in the city.

This library was inaugurated on Wednesday at 10.30 am by Kenji Kawamoto, Managing Director, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

This is Kalisu Foundation’s 24th Jnanalaya in the city to ensure that the kids in the Government Schools learn well outside the classroom. Outdoor learning corner is also built here and this is the first-of-its-kind facility in a Government School.

This outdoor reading corner ensures there is sufficient light and creates a perfect environment to read sitting along with nature. This library is sponsored by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries – VST Diesel Engines Private Limited and is executed by Kalisu Foundation.

Kalisu Foundation will also conduct library sessions and reading sessions for the children. This will inculcate the reading habit among every child. Kalisu believes education is the only way for a better India and has plans to build 100 such libraries.

During this programme, CEO of Kalisu Foundation M M Nikhilesh and members of the team Abida, Manoj Meera, Prachi Gupta and Pragathi and assistant teacher Mahendar and school teachers were also present.(MR).
