Kannada activists stop trucks carrying Govt Press ‘wastage’

Mysuru, August 4:- The members of Karnataka Kannada Vedike stopped the trucks which were carrying the wastage from Government Press in the city on Friday.

The activists who made the drivers to bring their trucks to Saraswathipuram Police Station, alleged that the loaded ‘wastes’ were actually not wastes and said that the material can be used for making books.

A verbal spat took place between Union members of the Government Press and the activists. They staged a protest in front of the police station, urging to take action against the guilty . (KS, NGB)
