Kannada handwriting competition held

“The platforms that provide an opportunity to children to showcase their talents are like passport to success,” said senior journalist Ranganath Mysuru.

He was speaking at the Kannada handwriting competition organised by Mysuru district Kannada Sahithya Parishath women’s unit and Akhila Karnataka Parisara Jagruthi Vedike in Shakthinagar, Mysuru, recently.

“Today’s children are very talented. There are many platforms for children to display their talents. Kannada is a very beautiful language. Such platforms should conduct activities which enhance children’s love towards Kannada,” he said.

Yashaswini Lokeshwar, president of Yashashwini House Construction Cooperative Society inaugurated the programme and said that in order to spread Kannada to English medium children, such competitions are important.”
