Mysuru, April 10:- “Kannada Party, founded by Ma Ramamurthy and led by renowned writers Anakru and Ta Ra Su, is fielding candidates for the Karnataka Assembly elections slated for May 12, to make sure that the Kannada voice is heard in Vidhana Soudha,” said the state president of the party, P Purushotham at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Monday.
“Aravinda Sharma will contest from Krishnaraja Constituency. National parties are sidelining the interest of Kannada and Karnataka for their political gains. It is unfortunate that none of the national parties has a firm stand on Mahadayi dispute, Cauvery issue, border disputes and other issues. We request young voters to vote for the party,” he added.
Aravinda Sharma, Yogesh, Suma Mahesh, Srinath, and others were present. (MR/KMR).
