Kannada writer KB Siddaiah no more

Prime News, Karnataka, Bengaluru, October 18:- Veteran Kannada writer K B Siddaiah passed away on Friday morning at Manipal Hospital in th city following brain hemorrhage that he suffered after getting injured in a road accident recently. Siddaiah had sustained serious injuries while his driver died on the spot when their car crashed while proceeding towards his farm near Suganahalli-Kenkere. He was 65.

Siddaiah, a Dalit rights activist, was a close aide of former chief minister Siddaramaiah. Siddaiah is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.

His body will be taken to Tumakuru for public homage at town hall and later will be cremated at their farm. (Inputs: Agencies, NGB)
