Karnataka CET on April 29, 30

Prime News, Karnataka, Bengaluru, March 12:- The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Monday has rescheduled the Common Entrance Test (CET) – 2019.

The test, which was earlier scheduled to be held on April 23 and 24, has now been postponed to April 29 and 30. As the Election Commission of India (ECI) scheduled the second phase of polling in the state for Lok Sabha polls on April 23, the KEA has rescheduled the examination dates.

“Following the announcement of schedule of the Lok Sabha Elections by ECI, the Government of Karnataka has directed KEA to conduct CET-2019 on April 29 and 30, and the Kannada language test on May 1,” stated a KEA press release.

According to the new schedule of KEA, Biology (10.30 am – 11.50 am) and Mathematics (2.30 pm – 3.50 pm) will be held on Day 1, Monday, April 29; and Physics (10.30 am – 11.50 am) and Chemistry (2.30 pm – 3.50 pm) will be held on Day 2, Tuesday, April 30.

The Kannada language test, only for horanadu (non-resident) and gadinadu (border area) Kannadiga candidates, has been rescheduled on May 1 from (11.30 am – 12. 30 pm) on Wednesday.
