Prime News, Karnataka, Health, Disease, Curfew, Bengaluru, January 21:- The Karnataka government has withdrawn the weekend curfew across the state with immediate effect following the advice from experts.
Addressing the media after attending a high level meeting at the home office ‘Krishna’ of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai here, to review the Covid-19 situation in the state, Revenue Minister R Ashoka announced the withdrawal of the weekend curfew and added that the night curfew will continue between 10 pm and 5 pm.
Minister for Primary and Secondary Education B C Nagesh said that schools will be open across Karnataka and the schools will remain closed in Bengaluru till January 29.
Ministers Dr K Sudhakar, Araga Jnanendra, Govind M Karjol, government officials and others were present. The next meeting will be held on January 29. (Inputs: Agencies, NGB)
