Karnataka registers 124 fresh Covid-19 cases

Prime News, Karnataka, Health, Disease, Vaccine, Bengaluru, May 20:- Karnataka on Thursday (May 19) registered 124 fresh Covid-19 cases and no deaths related to the virus were recorded.

The active cases in the State stands at 1,726, according to a bulletin released by the state Health Department. Bengaluru Urban district’s single-day tally is at 116.

No fatalities related to the coronavirus were recorded in the State on Thursday. The death toll in the State has remained static at 40,064.

The state recorded 159 discharges from hospitals on Thursday, taking the total discharges to 39,08,296. Karnataka has seen 39,50,128 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.64 percent while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.00 percent. As many as 10,76,04,382 people have received anti-Covid vaccination in the State as of 9 pm Thursday. (Inputs: Agencies, NGB)
