Karnataka registers 29 fresh Covid-19 infections

Prime News, Karnataka, Health, Disease, Vaccine, Bengaluru, April 6:- Karnataka on Tuesday (April 5) registered 29 fresh coronavirus infections.

The active cases in the State stands at 1,468, according to a bulletin released by the state Health Department. Bengaluru Urban district’s single-day tally stood at 24.

The death toll in the State has risen to 40,055. The state recorded 61 discharges from hospitals on Tuesday, taking the total discharges to 39,04,162.

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,45,727 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.33 percent.

As many as 10,44,25,639 people have received anti-Covid vaccination in the State so far. On Tuesday, 1,09,292 vaccinations were administered to the people. (Inputs: Agencies, NGB)
