Karnataka registers 295 fresh Covid-19 cases, 5 deaths

​Prime News, Karnataka, Health, Disease, Vaccine, Bengaluru, December 22:- Karnataka registered 295 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, said the health bulletin by the state Health Department on Tuesday (December 21).

With this, the active cases in the state stand at 7,074. 290 patients recovered from the disease taking the total number of recoveries to 29,57,546. Bengaluru Urban’s single-day tally stood at 204.

Five patients lost their lives in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 38,295. Total positive cases in the state stand at 30,02,944 since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

In Mysuru district, 10 fresh coronavirus infections were recorded and 14 patients recovered from the disease.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.39 percent while the case fatality rate for the day is 1.69 percent. Over 8,32,62,520 people have received Covid-19 vaccination in the state so far. (Inputs: Agencies, NGB)
