Mysuru, December 3:- MP Pratap Simha inaugurated Kannada Rajythsava at Vivekananda Nagar circle organised by Karnataka Senapade on Sunday.
“We have to use Kannada more. Not only Kannadigas, but those who have come to Karnataka from outside should also learn Kannada. Kannada is one of the ancient languages and has won eight Jnanapeetha awards. Earlier, Karnataka was known as Mysore. Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar developed Mysore as a model state in India. He started Kannada Sahitya Parishat for uniting the state. Ma Ramamurthy, who was not a Kannadiga by birth, designed the Kannada flag,” the MP said.
BJP leader Dr C Y Shivegowda distributed clothes to poor kids. Social worker M N Ramesh distributed books.
