Karnataka: Traffic jam at Hubbali following protest by pro-Hindu activists over religious conversion

Prime News, State (Bengaluru), Oct 18:- Hubbali witnessed a massive traffic jam near Bhairikoppa on Sunday evening as pro-Hindu activists blocked Hubbali-Dharwad road to register their protest against an alleged forced religious conversion at a church.

The protesters alleged that one individual was converted to Christianity on the pretext of a ‘good life’ by a pastor in a church in Bhairikoppa. The man later filed an FIR (first information report) against the pastor.

However, the pastor later alleged that he converted on his own will.

The protest caused a massive traffic jam and motorists had to wait until the Navanagar Police reached the spot to clear the congestion.
