Knowledge has no borders: Infosys co-founder Dr K Dinesh

Mysuru, October 22:- “Knowledge has no boundaries or borders,” said co-founder of Infosys Dr K Dinesh.

He was speaking at a workshop on ‘University as a catalyst for change’  held at Rani Bahadur auditorium, Manasagangothri, here on Monday, organised by the state government, Karnataka State Secondary Education Board, Rashtriya Uchhatar Shiksha Abhiyan and the University of Mysore.

“Youths get everything with ease, thanks to science and technology. But anything can be achieved in life only by hard work. One has to follow seven rules in life to succeed. Those are adventurous mindset, self-belief, creativity, dreaming, implementing the plans, social concern and invention. If you have these in you, success is yours,” he said.

“Those who wish to achieve something in life will face a lot of challenges. We had challenges when we started Infosys. Today too we have enough challenges. But we have to stand tall against them and that’s how Infosys became the world’s third-largest company,” he added.

The executive director of KSSEB SA Kori, president of Indian Science Congress Prof KS Rangappa, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mysore Prof G Hemanth Kumar and others were present. (MR/GK)
