KPJP confident of playing a major role in Assembly elections

Mysuru, April 17:- Karnataka Prajnavantha Janata Party with the slogan ‘No cash, no caste’, started by D Mahesh Gowda, to bring about a change in Karnataka politics with the slogan will play a major role in 2018 assembly election, said national secretary of the party, S R Kanti at a press meet at Mysuru press club on Tuesday.

“Many talented people are contesting from the party. Those who wish to serve the society can join the party. We will announce our second list of candidates soon. The exit of actor Upendra from the party has had a little impact. He joined the party and left on his own. Ask him if you have any questions,” Kanti added.

“K R constituency candidate of KPJP,  Dr. Jayanth, is a doctor by profession and is attracted by the ideologies of the party. We are happy that he is contesting from the party even after Upendra quit,” he said.

Dr. Jayanth, Lakshmikanth, Chikkanna and others were present. (MR/KMR).
