Mysuru, July 6:- Srinidhi and Prashanth Gowda have been appointed as the city president and secretary of Karnataka Prajnavantha Janata Paksha (KPJP). National president of the party, D Mahesh Gowda officially gave them the charge here on Friday at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club.
“The party is known to everyone because of its casteless and cashless policy. Office-bearers are being appointed for the party throughout the state. Candidates of the party will contest from all 65 wards of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC). Minister Shankar holds a good relationship with the party. Though the executive committee of the party was formed according to the opinions of Kannada actor Upendra, he walked out of the party. We will welcome him again if he wants to return, accepting the policies of the party,” Gowda added.
S R Kanti, Bhagyamma, Mallesh Thattegere and Srinidhi Prashanth Gowda were present. (MR/KMR).
